This Sri Lankan colleague just sms-ed me at 2am asking for the dial-in details of a tele-conference tomorrow morning. What's stranger is he said he needs to know the dial-in details in advance because he is "not carrying his laptop

Heh, I think he thought you were gonna email the details lah. Or maybe his laptop can receive SMSes ... like a big frigging O2 with normal-sized keyboard. LOL!

that is probably the most logical explanation. then again, the laptop one...u just never know what strange gadgets they might have
