You can tell him there were no blackbirds in that pie.
Perhaps your brother shouldn't get Victor's hopes up with such tales. Who knows what he will be expecting next.

I think it was some sort of nut. It was difficult to see when Pi was jumping on it.
At the very least, keep the tales out of earshot of Pi, who is too imaginative already, I think.

Eh, look at that kitten. It's so happy! Tell the baker, they could always make one again. There could also be something wrong with the pie, too, so the kitten wanted to destroy it, y'know.
