can someone tell me, just out of curiosity, which of the american newspapers are generally considered conservative and which are considered liberal? i figure the new york times are a fairly middle-of-the-road publication.

Conservative papers include the Washington Times, the New York Post, and Investor's Business Daily. The Wall Street Journal might be moderately conservative. The NYT is very liberal.
