I love Across the Sea too! Like yeah ok, random cave of light is random as fuck, but otherwise I really love watching Jacob and MIB.

The light in the cave is important! It's the path way to 'alt world' we see during the last season. Protecting that light is protecting the ability for redemption and coming to terms with your issues.
