brief thoughts finishing Series 2 of Doctor Who

Well, today I watched the final 2-part story for Series 2, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.

I'm writing up some brief thoughts, pending a full review of everything following...whichever story I finished writing in depth reviews for.

damn i hadn't thought about the reoccuring cast all being gone...what i find odd (or maybe ood :0) is the fact that they're using an actress that was killed off in one of these eps as the new companion. Mayne its just me but i find it kind of disheartening... but maybe they just liked her so much when she ausitoned for the role in Army that they decided to give her a go with this... or mayeb i could rad up on some of it now that i'm no longer avoding spoilers for Doomsday.
