Didn't do much today, much to my chagrin. Once again, some work crisis called on Chris and this time he had to actually go into the office. *sigh* Seems that a cleaning lady at the office felt that she needed to turn off the power to mop the floors, and didn't bother to turn the power back on! I'm so sorry you are having a bad day! You must feel very isolated and lonely there at times. Even tho I'm in the States I understand your feelings all too well since I left family, friends, and an awesome town to move up here to the sticks (2 years ago!). It stinks not being able to call one of your dear friends and meet for a coffee or chai or just a shoulder to cry on when these spells hit. :( Anyway, just wanted to commiserate (sp?) and let you know you're not alone! Remember your "HF" is here for you too. Hang in there, kiddo.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Actually, can you believe that I said to Chris today that I'm a little sad at the prospect of leaving in 10 days?? The weather is getting beautiful now and I'm getting bolder about going out and about. And just in time for me and the kids to return to the States. Typical...
