December 2: Share the best restaurant experience you had this year. Who was there? What made it amazing? What taste stands out in your mind?
The best restaurant experience, or at least the first one that popped into my mind, was at Arigato Sushi in Santa Barbara. Again, from our anniversary trip in October (which was my most memorable trip of 2009). Chris was there, of course, and it was the food that made it simply amazing. One dish in particular, seared Kobe beef, was just delightful. Melt in your mouth, so good we ordered it twice! So good, I took a picture.
Not the greatest picture, but if you like sushi, Kobe beef, and are in Santa Barbara, go to Arigato Sushi and order this! Talk about a mouthgasm...
