This morning, it rained hard and we had thunder and lightning. Usually, I don't like rain at all, however, I realized later that my dislike before was because of the time of year it rains in LA, which is winter ( Read more... )

I like a quick summer rain as well.

You were in Florida in '88? So was I. I was living in Lake Worth/West Palm Beach. I was busy trying not to go to school. (class of '88)

Yeah, we lived in Orlando...moved to LA during my 10th grade year of high school. Finished high school there, class of 1990. :-)

I love rain as well. Except for cold, damp rain. *shudder* grab me a blanket, a hot cuppa tea and a sweatshirt. Brr...

I like those kinds of showers too. The last time I experienced anything like that was on Easter Island where it would be sunny and hot one minute then absolutely pour with rain the next for maybe a few minutes, then go back to hot and sunny again! Perfect!
