it really isn't dependant on points. some people get i1 quickly in terms of how long they've been around and how many points they have, and some take longer. we were just discussing on irc how privs are based on ability and trust, rather than points or anything like that. and it really does prove that even if answers aren't approved, it doesn't mean they're not approvable or a waste of time :)
