I'm so frustrated with LJ I could scream. If I drop off the map for a bit, it's because I just don't have the patience for this. The new update has made editing and posting irritating enough, but it has also just decided to run slower than molasses and I just. No. It took me 2 hours to post this. Just. No.

Oh, that just sucks! Thank goodness there doesn't seem to be a problem with HTML posting. Otherwise you would have heard a series of bloodcurdling screams if it took me that long to post the SSHG Weekly Update in lovedraughts!

The thing is, it isn't just inconvenient posting. Ever since the update, LJ has been really really realllllly slow for me. It took me 40 minutes just to load this page, and I just don't have the patience for this. >_

That sounds more like a browser issue. When LJ was under attack I know Internet Explorer worked pretty well, but Firefox and Safari were slow as molasses. If you have more than one browser, you might want to try a different one for LJ to see if there is any difference. Otherwise, it's waiting for LJ to fix all the bugs from the update. I hate it when they change things. It always screws stuff up!

LJ's been dead for me yesterday. Pfft.

For posting stuff, I suggest using a client like Semagic. Its layout is a bit like MS Word. Very easy to use.

I just downloaded Semagic, and am anxious to see how it works. I wish that it was compliant with Photobucket though. I don't like LJ scrapbook.

Absolutely agreed. I don't know why they sprung this update on us without checking for bugs first.

I have to post the Nicci/"Bound" discussion post tomorrow, so I downloaded the Symagic client suggested above. It seems to get high marks from users.

I have to be able to edit, even when I copy and paste from MS Word, since I always catch about a gazillion mistakes every time I post. Not to mention how hard it STILL is for me to remember the lj cut.
