I'm sad to read :( I mostly only reblog on Tumblr. And when I do post it's graphics or a link to A03/LJ. I can't (won't) post personal photos or anecdotes or original fiction there and those are important parts of my online experience. I understand the draw of more people reblogging a graphics manip, but it's no place for meta or discussions or developing personal connections :( In fact I've been thinking about a brief meta talking about the strengths of journals vs Tumblr, pointless as that seems to be :(
Yeah, I didn't really want to move away from LJ as I still prefer it as a format, but my thing is that the fandoms I'm in now don't exist here. They're on tumblr and/or fandom specific message boards, and if I want to be in them that's where I have to go. And I when I look at my habits over the last few months, I can see that I'm not going to keep logging in here when all my fandom activity is elsewhere, and there's very little use in posting my fanworks links here, since they're mostly for fandoms where the audience is elsewhere, so. This isn't so much a change as me acknowledging that the change happened on its own.

See you around. :)
Sometimes I do meta for shows we're both fans of like Teen Wolf. Would you be interested in getting links when I do?
