Internet Troubles and Law School Woes

Well then. My home internet is still not fixed. The internet guy came and said he doesn't know why it's not working, everything is fine and should be working. He thinks maybe it has something to do with the construction going on at the end of the street, like maybe they're messing it up.

I'm starting to get scared for law school. Will I have any time at all? The fact that you manage all that you do on LJ in spite of school gives me hope. Because I really do need my LJ time. It relaxes me and keeps me functioning.

It'll probably be most difficult first year. First year is the year they're weeding out people who aren't cut out for it, so the stress level is much higher.

Lol, I'm not sure if it should. Truth is, I'm a poor student. I spend more time on LJ than I should, and I don't have any extracurricualr activities except for working in the pro bono clinic and working at a local defense firm. Which. In terms of law school achievement, only puts me in the middle of the pack. The people that do really well and get all the good jobs are also in 2938472398 clubs and write for the journal, and do mock trial, and etc etc.

OMG, how infuriating. They don't know how to fix your Internet so they're just doing nothing? I hope it turns out to be the construction, because then at least there's a chance it'll fix itself again.

I had a hissy fit this morning because our electricity went off unexpectedly for about an hour! Being internet-less for days is completely unacceptable - unless you're off on holiday somewhere nice to make up for it.
