New Development: The LotS Fanfiction (Un)Demolition

Hello there, Seekers.

Remember the LotS Fanfiction Demolition ? There has been a new development.

The Fanfiction.Net support staff never answered the emails I sent asking them to confirm or deny that the Legend of the Seeker category would be deleted. So I sent an email asking that characters be added to the character drop down lists, like the one

Thanks for keeping us informed :D I agree that this means the LotS archive is not in danger of removal.

FF.net however has had a bad couple of weeks; lots of ffnetrants entries reporting issues with logging in, using the document manager, and notifications/stats. So I think it's increasingly important, as you suggest here, to have a backup of fic elsewhere and a record of any reviews you want to keep, just in case.

Thank you for getting the information :D I'm glad FF. net isn't removing everything, but I really prefer AO3 as an archive even so. I hate fighting with FF.net over formatting, and it's been buggy lately.
