Ok. I have learned a few more names, and am beginning to grasp some interfamily ties and follow various plot threads a bit better. Unfortunately, I no longer know what my feelings are doing. At all. This show ate my feelings.
More specific thoughts under the cut. Don't spoil me, as always! <3

Nah, you're not a White Walker. They don't know how to use the internet. <-How you can tell.
Oh ok. Thanks for that explanation about winter, it makes a lot of things make more sense now.
Lolol Emo Jon.
I haven't seen anything out of Jorah yet that makes my pants wiggle, but I am going to watch the next episode over lunch, so we'll see what he does and what effect it has on my pants.

But. Lolol "Savage Horse Manese". He's pretty much Leo 2.0 to me, though. Actually, 2.0 is Philip from Seeker. Leo 3.0. There we go.
Re: The Imp: would totally tap that.
Joffrey though, I don't know, I think I'm the only one that likes him lolol. I don't like him in a way that I want to see him ~win~, but like someone said once, there's all this praise for the younger actors in the show, but this dude...the actor is damn good at what he does because man does he make everyone hate him. I love it.

Leo 3.0?! SAY IT ISN'T SO. I mean, aside from the whole horse affinity thing, I don't think they're very similar. You just don't like horses. ADMIT IT. XD
I actually do kind of like Psycho Joffrey after seeing the scene with Mama Lannister. You see the doubt there of the kid, and he can't really help it that she teaches him to be a little shit. And yeah, he does do a good job.

I've actually realized some of the reasons I'm drawn to Savage Horse Man, but I'll be ~discussing those in the next recap. <3

Seasons in Westeros last for years, and the last winter is beyond the memory of most people who are now alive. Also the winters are brutal. Added to that is the whole Other's thing that will be coming along with winter this time around. (the Others are creatures of legend - their last appearence was thousands of years ago, so nobody really takes them any more seriously than a fairy tale).
The biggest deal is that there is this huge threat getting ready to descend on everybody from the North, yet nobody is paying much attention because of all the political shit that's going on.

Also Bex, let me take a moment to say thank you for mentioning this series to me every so often. I finally decided to watch it because of you, and now I am just LOVING it. SO MUCH. I can barely wait for a holiday to roll around so I'll have time to read the books.
The only way this show could possibly get better is if Brooke Williams and Craig Parker joined the cast.

You are spot on about the king. I mean, way to beggar the nation, seeing as how the Lannisters basically own everything...
It sounds like show!Cersei is even more intense than book!Cersei, which is saying something.
And meanwhile the Starks may look all happy and vanilla but I don't think it's too spoilery to say that will not last (because, if nothing else, there's the whole zombie apocalypse.)

Yeah, not a fan of Bob the Beggar King.
Well we'll see what happens with the Starks. But lol at - "Well there's always the Zombie Apocalypse to look forward to." XD
