Timing belt went out on my Honda (interference engine). We're currently waiting to see whether the engine's been damaged... have to repair the belt to do it, sigh

oh baby, have I been there. I've never owned a brand new car, but my last one was only a year old when I bought it. I guess I've been lucky since my first used one. It was a pretty good car until something went wrong with the engine. Luckily I sold it before that happened. Used cars are okay, just depends on how old and how used and abused.
