I have a friend, dependonyou, who has a lot of trouble keeping her house organized. She does all sorts of crafts: sewing, beading, claywork, and scrapbooking are just a few. Her supplies have exploded, leaving her livingroom, bedroom, spare room, and hallways a mess. Kendrah tried for a while to find something to help her get her house under control, and I ( Read more... )

If Fox ever clears our debt, I wouldn't mind one of those. My secondary desk is kind of similar but it's only got the four drawers. I augmented it with a hanging wicker box above it and several bead boxes stacked on it as well as a big scrapbook bag, but it exploded again.

When Amie/Kendrah first showed me the table, I went 'eh'. They're rather expensive for what's essentially just a desk with some extra storage space; they do sell art desks at some craft stores that have extra storage space.

What I was amazed by were the giant cabinets, did you see those on the website? They're like a giant bookcase with doors, but when you open the doors it reveals tons and tons of little bins and canvas sacks and cubbies and all kinds of stuff, and there's even a fold-out table inside.

But of course I think those were something like $2K. Maybe when I win the lottery ;P

I looked at those and quickly passed them by because I know we could never justify 2K on furniture...not craft furniture. Before that happens, I'll get my leather couches :D

Unless you get the knotty adder version (wood finish), I think that the WorkBox on The Original ScrapBox.com is actually about $1,300, which isn't too bad. And they do have smaller versions which are reduced in price. They look like they'd hold so much that they'd still get the job done, even when you cut down the depth a bunch. Like with the Craftbox or something, which drops down to being $800. In the end, that's what you'd spend for a nice armoir for your bedroom anyway, I think. ^^;

Gosh, is it really so late! The Original ScrapBox.com can just be so distracting! I didn't realize how long I was looking at the specs on their great furniture! You should go check it out, everyone!
