This is an awesome start. I just love the last line. Because it does make sense and it also makes sense for Sara to be thinking that. I was actually satisfied with the finale (still can't bring myself to watch TFB and make it part of my canon, thought) and that final scene had me in tears, but I am looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Thank you! I was satisified with the finale too, and kind of wish it had just ended there, because for me, TFB added more questions and inconsistencies, and now I feel the compulsion to write about them! *g* Before TFB, I didn't think there was any way to write something hopeful based on canon, but now I think it's possible!

Ooh, I really like where this is going. I've been living in AU land as I wasn't satisfied with the finale or TFB, but this is a hopeful scenario that I can definitely live with. Great start so far! I'm very much looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Thank you! I promise you that hope is a theme in this fic, even though it largely follows canon. That said, there will be sad parts: I don't want to mislead anyone on that front. Thanks for reading!

This is very good. I'm glad you're putting your own spin into the story, because canon definitely left a lot to be desired, creative & character-wise. I thought it was a bit rushed, and at the end, i felt that the writers weren't as in touch with the characters they created as we should expect them to be.

Hope this won't be your last PB fic, though? I think you're one of the best in the fandom. I'm a big fan :)

I agree with everything you say here about the end (to me, 'end' meaning the Final Break). I liked the finale end better, but I still want to expand upon it. I needed more emotion from Sara, for one thing!

Firstly I have to wish you a very happy birthday, sweetheart! My flist is full of affectionate greetings for you so even I, famous for missing everything, couldn't miss them! I hope you're having a wonderful day, anyway!

This could be your last PB fic? When I've only just found some time to read some of your writing?!!! :( I hope you find inspiration in this fandom again but if not good luck with whatever you do next.

As for this one?!! It occurs to me that what Michael did was his Plan B...but I'd be much happier that it was his Plan A!! So I'm going to have a little faith and believe that Sara is not actually a widow! :)

Thank you! I think it will be at least my last multi-chapter PB fic, but if so, I suppose you have plenty to back-read (I tended to write a lot of loooong stories the past few years, lol).
