I hear ya. I wrote a long fic about him just trying to understand his character. I'm still kinda clueless.

Anyway, very good.

When the box arrived with the noose reality hit what he wanted out of me.
One small critique: Maybe it's just me, but this sentence may read better if you say "...reality hit. This is what he wanted..."
