We're happy you're interested in joining Crystal War! Please read all the info on this page carefully before applying.
Applications are opened and reviewed during the second week of every month. You can reserve and apply for up to two characters per round, with a maximum of five characters allowed. Please let us know in the subject line if the character is reserved! Adding 1/insert number here to each comment of the app is not required; simply respond to your first comment with each subsequent section of your application. It makes things a lot neater. Please do not link to your application! We require you to post them in comments so we always have access to them. You may request that yours be screened, and we will be happy to do so.
We will make sure revision requests and rejection notices are as clear as possible, and give you the opportunity to revise or construct a new app during the app cycle. In the event you are asked for a revision, or if you are rejected, you have a maximum of 48 hours past the notice to revise your application.
Canon character applications and original character applications differ a little, so be sure you pick the right one for your character!

HISTORY: A wiki link detailing the character's background/history is fine. In addition, listing a canon point is required.
PREVIOUS GAME MEMORIES: If you're pulling a character from a previous game, please detail any major events they went through. We don't need a blow-by-blow account of their time in the last game, but giving us examples of any character defining moments and how those moments affected them would be excellent. Only one previous game can be used.
PERSONALITY: In detail, describe your character's personality, their motivations, desires and all that makes them...them! Using examples from canon to support this section is encouraged, as it gives us a good idea of how well you understand them. This section will be one of three used to determine what kind of soldier your character will be.
ABILITIES/SKILLS: List any abilities and skills, supernatural or no. Knowing they're above average-intelligence or they have a green thumb is just as important as knowing they shoot lasers from their eyes.
PREFERRED POWER SET: Using the Powers page as a guide, please pick a power set and explain to us why you think your character should be given this set. We reserve the right to pick another power set based on the information given in the Personality and Abilities section, but we will certainly take your answers here into account. If you have any suggestions for your character's core power, please write them here.
ONE MORE THING!: Was your character pulled into Crystal Tokyo by the Queen's plea for help, or by the power they felt radiating from the Silver Crystal? This is a subconscious sort of thing, meaning your character wouldn't know why they were pulled in. It's more of a question for you (and for us!) Some characters will be drawn by one, some by both, and others might just be pulled in on a whim, so there's no such thing as a wrong answer.
