Alicey asked if I would post my first animation assignment, so here it is! Due the second day of class, because my professor is crazy. "In Adobe AfterEffects, create a 7 second animation using the type files provided. Animate three letters/numbers dropping: one heavy, one light as paper, and the third should have physical qualities of your choice

Well, I'm totally annoyed! When I double click on TextAnim.mov above, it says "playing" but nothing happens. Any suggestions? I want to see your genius--brennabren2

Do you have Quicktime? If not, you can download it from the Apple website. If you do have it, try rightclicking on the textanim.mov link and saving it somewhere on your computer. Then try opening the file from there.

It's also possible that you're not giving the animation time to download. What does it say in the status bar?

huzzah! when i went to pick up my digicam, your mum told me that you were having a major crisis and you had to do a 7 MINUTE animation project by wednesday. so i was worried that you might commit harikiri and leave the world a bleaker place. so i'm very very happy that you're all settled in and being a good harried college student. much love!
