There was no way Mark was making a new film and not including Roger. He kind of liked the look of the scene and the narration didn't exactly sparkle, but he could fix that. It would make a decent intro. Or final fade. Something.

He was so wrapped up in it that he startled a bit when he heard Prior behind him and instantly looked sheepish. It seemed like all he did lately was lose himself behind the camera.

"Hey. Hi," he said softly as he looked Prior over and swallowed hard. He'd caught a glimpse of him talking to Roger, too, and knowing that Brian was gone...

Well. Maybe he was just nervous over nothing.

So much for Prior's grand seduction entrance. Trying to ignore that unpleasant tug, he made an attempt to salvage it.

He glided farther into the room (it's always easier to glide in silk). "Hope you don't mind that I let myself in."

"Of course not. You look...good," Mark replied, then laid the camera aside and got to his feet. "What was your day like? How do you feel?"

"My day was... uneventful," Prior said. For a moment he wondered if he should tell him about talking to Roger, but that seemed fairly ridiculous. It was just talking.

"And I feel..." He moved closer. "Good. Really, really good."
