What a lovely Stevie / Xabi fic! It truly shows how much they're completing each other.

I love that image of the responsible, caring for his teammates Xabi, especially since we all know that Stevie can be very emotional about football results, so he probably wouldn't be a nice, understanding captain after a frustrating loss.

But I love even more the way Stevie senses that Xabi just can't do his "duties" after the Arsenal match and therefore finally decides to act like a captain and to help him. Sharing the burdens simply shows true love.

A wonderful fic!
