Sarah stumbles out of her office closet, grumbling as she drops her key and her heavy knapsack onto the floor. There's a nicely bandaged bullet wound in her upper arm, a noticable limp in her right leg, and a large bruise on the side of her neck. Her eyebrows have been partly singed off, and there's soot still smudged across her forehead ( Read more... )

::Walks in, carrying a one-armed zombie corpse over his shoulders, firemans-carry style. Ash still hasn't cleaned up from his Zombie-killing splatterfest. So he probably reeks to high-heaven::

I brought you one just so you didn't feel like you missed out on the fun... He won't put up much of a fight, though.

::tosses the corpse on the floor::

Appearing in the doorway, looking seedier than usual, Spider blinks at the Principal for a minute or two. "All hell broke loose while you were gone. Okay, maybe only part of hell. Life sucked a lot. If you'd care to share the booze, we can go over the by-now-infamous zombie riots, the reason why the school was left unsupervised during the second wave, the fact that I've personally paid for the yearbook's operating expenses so there'll be no more fund-raisers like that last one and the fact that Ash and the kid who grew wings deserve medals - among others."

Sarah narrows her eyes across the desk at Professor Jerusalem. She'd like to say she doesn't believe all the zombie talk, but then again, she works here.

She leans over to grab a bottle from the liquor cabinet without looking at it and slides it across the desk. "I'm all ears," she says.

Picking up the bottle, Spider doesn't even bother to examine the label before picking it up and opening it. After a healthy swallow, he dropped into a chair. "Everything went fairly well until Friday afternoon, when we suddenly had the ambulatory dead wandering around in the town and slowly shambling up toward the campus."

There was a moment's silence as he took another healthy swallow. "Abe no Seimei dropped by to tell me that there was worse to come, so I authorized the release of weapons to the students. After that, things were chaos for a bit, but everything seemed to calm down a little before morning. The wards on the dormitories were holding, so I didn't see any harm in letting the students carry on as usual as long as they stayed within the protection of the dorms."
