Just a question-and first let me state that I loved This Pendant Heart, and I really think you're a great artist-but is it legal for you to sell this kind of thing? I really wouldn't want you to get into any trouble for selling this here, but doesn't it count as copyright infringement? Just wondering.

Well, technically doujinshis are not legal (unless it's somehow sanctioned by the original studio/copy right holder), but most people don't mind fans turning out doujins because it's such a large part of the anime culture and a lot of artists got their start as doujinshi-ka. If ever the US copy right holder of PT send me a C&D letter I'll have to stop selling fanbooks, but I don't think anything will happen since I'm not making big bucks off of this and undermining their profit. XD;;

Oh I meant in reference to the writing, the fanfiction aspect of it. But it does make sense what you said about not making a big profit off of it. I think it's only when people start making a real profit from fanart or fanfiction that it turns into a legal issue. Thanks for answering my question!

I'm not quite sure what you mean about the writing, but if you're referring to Lunasphere the fanfic author then yes (her LJ name is spheralunaris), as this fanbook is a collaboration between us. If you're talking about selling fanfics in doujinshis in general, that's a pretty common practice. :)

Of course that's okay! The total cost (shipping included) for sending the fanbook to the UK is 17USD per book. ^^

Nope. I did consider drawing a whole doujinshi for it, but that thought lasted for only about 5 seconds. XD;; It would've been a lot of work and I just don't have the time.
