The tagging system is officially up and running!
Your mod Tomoyo here! You may have already noticed entries being tagged as they've come in, but as of today, the entries of the entire comm from its beginning to present have all been added! :D
Below are all the tags and explanations of what they are. Read through and familiarize yourselves with them, both to find things with them and to tag your own entries, although us mods will retag your entries correctly if needed. :)
I'd like to point out in particular the obscure canon tag; there are some rare gems of material set aside in there that any Tutu fan might be pleased to find out, like the post-series half-crack skit that Itoh-sensei wrote herself, and official character profiles.
Also, because of the nature of this tagging system, you can use LJ's tag functions to be able to further enhance your searching efficiency!
Multiple Tags: View two or more tags at once by separating the tags by commas:

amvs & videos - AMVs and other videos like interviews, and stuff like Tutu Hell. XP
character tags - anything involving the character, in all mediums and pairs if applicable. note: Mytho is separate from Prince!Mytho and Raven!Mytho; the second refers to how he appears in the last two episodes, and the third is how he appears before that in the second season.
tags for: ahiru, autor, drosselmeyer, edel, fakir, femio, kraehe, lilie, mytho & raven!mytho & prince!mytho, neko-sensei, pique, rue, tutu, uzura; any other canon characters are tagged with others, and original characters created by fans are tagged ocs. For works involving four or more characters together, the group tag is used.
conventions and events - anything related to conventions or other Tutu-related events like the cast party.
corporate - matters relating to the companies that produce the show.
cosplay & crafts - cosplay and craftwork like self-made plushies.
crack - anything intended for utter hilarity. XP
discussion - topics meant for people to talk about.
doujinshi - doujinshi related posts, whether drawn by self, or scans of ones obtained. If the former, also counts as fanart.
fanart - stuff that people have drawn.
fanfic - stories that people have written.
group activities - activities meant for the community to participate in. Memes and Secret Santa are examples.
icons - ...yeah. XP
information - entries meant to inform people about various topics.
intro - if this is your first post and you say so, you get this special tag!
manga - anything related to the official manga, whether scans, icons, info etc.
merchandise - stuff regarding things you can buy that are official merchandise, like DVDs, manga and gashapon figurines. Fanmade items like doujinshi and crafts don't get this tag.
modliness - ooh, lookie! mods are speaking! XD
music - music related posts, including FSTs, OST uploads, info or downloads of other songs, etc.
obscure canon - this is more of an exclusive tag, reserved for special items of interest that are rare to find about Tutu canon, for example the official profiles and character relationships from the guidebooks. We'll know it when we see it.
other comms and sites - posts advertising or discussing other communities or websites, including RPGs.
other fanwork - if it isn't fanart/doujinshi, an AMV or video, a cosplay or craftwork, or icons, then it goes here! Includes FSTs, colorbars, macros etc.
pair tags - anything involving the pair, in all mediums.
Entries with pair tags will also get both the character tags, too. For Ahiru or Tutu and Rue or Kraehe, with the exception of mytho + ahiru and mytho + tutu, which were voted by the comm to be separate tags, they will be labeled with their alter-ego's pair tag, e.g. tutu + kraehe will go under rue + ahiru, mytho + kraehe will go under mytho + rue, fakir + tutu will go under fakir + ahiru etc.; they will not go under the others tag.

scenario: pre-series - fanwork and discussion which takes place before the main part of the series, e.g. during Fakir's childhood, events in The Prince and the Raven, etc.
scenario: during series - fanart and fanfic which take place in a specific time during the series, e.g. a depiction of an event, existing or additional, that takes place in a certain episode. Fanwork like icons and AMVs which naturally entail being during the show do not need this tag.
scenario: post-series - fanwork and discussion which takes place after the series.
screencaps and official scans - screencaptures/screenshots of the series, as well as scans of official material such as official artwork or cel art, DVD cover scans, cel backgrounds etc.
secret santa - entries involving the Secret Santa activity that takes place from November to January.
selling - entries in which a member is selling an item or items they have to offer, whether fanmade or official.
spot the reference - a series of discussion entries that was posted by ingvild, which point out various references in the show.
voice actors & seiyuu - anything related to the Japanese or English voice actors.
