Posting this a day ahead so people can set up their gifting threads.
Gift giving is open Dec. 22, 2008 -- Jan. 4, 2008
This is the official Gift Giving post where each of the PT Gift exchange participants will be giving and receiving their gifts. Here's how it will be carried out.
First, everyone who is participating will comment to this post with their username and/or name in the post. If you want, you can even put in a little header to help it stand out. This is where you can exchange comments with your secret santa.

Second, starting the 22nd and going to Jan. 4, your respective secret santa will post their gift(s) anonymously.
Remember, you can give your gift at any time during the gift giving period.
If you have questions or cannot make your gift in time, don't hesitate to contact myself or lycorne.

Due to some questions I've received, I'd like for you to add a couple of info pieces.
About anonymously posting Secret Santa images:
If you are concerned that your photobucket or other online image gallery will reveal your identity early, I am offering the use of one of my photobucket galleries to upload these images to. All you need to do is email the images to lycorne at elfgrove@gmail.com and she will upload the image for you and send the link for the uploaded image back so that you can deliver it to your giftee.
There is also a website, TinyPic, that allows you to upload images anonymously.
About anonymously posting Secret Santa AMVs, FSTs, and other large files:
I would strongly suggest uploading such things as FST zips or AMV video gifts to a file-sharing site like MegaUpload, RapidShare, YouSendIt, MediaFire, etc. Then post the download link for your giftee.
About Pinch Hitting for MIA Secret Santas:
Every Secret Santa has until the end of the gift-giving period (January 4th, 2009) to create and deliver their gift. If people do not make the gift-giving date, asatira or lycorne will contact them to find out what has occurred. Within 24 to 48 hours after the deadline (so by JAN 6th) we will send out assignment adoption requests to the volunteer pinch hitters as necessary.

We've gotten at least one concern about people who have not posted yet. I've decided to give them until the 25th to post (I don't think everyone checks their LJ or dA on a daily basis or may be busy due to the holidays). If they have not posted by then, Becky and I will go through and contact them to alert each one to post and/or their status.
