My good buddy, rattlesnakeroot  just did an entry on "James Love "  *gags* in The Illuminated Dungeon.

It seems the JP fans have come up with a new low: "James Sex Riot."  Thank goodness rattlesnakeroot keeps extra buckets handy for such occasions. Oh, my! After reading the stuff on that page I had to make use of one. I haven't been exposed to that ( Read more... )

I think the main thing is that anyone should be able to "SQEE" over a character without being treated like a nutcase. I don't really care what the James fans are doing (and I needed a shower after visiting their Sex Riot). The main problem is that the James/Lily fans are a small minority who act like the majority - they think everyone should agree with them.

Ha, but we are more the 99% now, LOL, and they are the 1% but they don't know it.

Check out the thread about Personality types on HPN - Ianus did statistical analysis back in 2007 and only 1% of fans named James or Lily as their favorite. I really don't think it has changed much, but now they use every opportunity to slam the Snape fans.

Nope. I don't care what they do, either. I just wish they'd leave us alone and quit trolling and trying to spoil our fun. We don't go looking for James or Lily sites just to post garbage there and spoil their good times. Why can't they just stay in their own place and leave us alone.

And, your're right, rattlesnakeroot. Snape fans are the majority -- ask MTV, Bloomsbury, and a couple of other polls done recently who is the OVERALL favorite Harry Potter character -- it isn't James, Lily, or even Harry Potter, for pity sake. It's Severus Snape! Now, doesn't that tell you something?

Yeah, now and than I drag out my soapbox and have a go. It's feels good to get that all out of my system, though. Those are things I wish I could say on various forums -- which shall remain nameless.
