Hehehehe... sounds like fun.

[To crash in on the festival, of course]

Yes! It will be just as fun as the festival from home, I hope!

[...oh u. Do it. S-sob! She will get her buddies to go after you if you do]

Maybe it will, maybe it won't. Then again, everyone's too busy looking for body parts to care, hahahaha!

[He'll do it anyway. He's not afraid of you!]

There will be time for everyone's little treasure hunt before the festival begins. It is only about two weeks away.

[She might look like a little kid but she's not afraid of you either.]

[He has no idea that Marx is planning anything about crashing the party, but that many people in one place is monster bait.]

If you'd like, I can offer my services for security.

Mii~! I would like that very much, sir!

[She sounds very cheerful, unlike the last time you spoke to her. Almost like a completely different person.]

Very well. The nineteenth of June, on Bonito Drive, correct?

...You do not need to call me sir. My name is Hitsugaya.

That is correct. After my dance performance, we will move to the lake towards the west.

Hitsugaya. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Furude Rika. [You know that already.]

Sure, I will. It sounds like fun, though I've never heard of it before. Is it something from Rika-chan's home?

I look forward to seeing Souji there. Please tell your friends about it too, okay?

Yes, it is. It is only celebrated in Hinamizawa. Many tourists and the people from the neighboring cities come to visit our village during this time.

Cotton-drifting Festival?

I've never heard of that before. What's it for?

...Tails. Good day to you.

It is a ceremony celebrated only in my village. The purpose of the Watanagashi is to pay respect to futons and to honor the Shrine God, Oyashiro-sama. We do not have anything like futons in Discedo, so we may need to find a substitute.

Hi Rika! Are you doing okay?

...that sounds like fun!

[Pauses to think]

Well, we have mattresses, those are still filled with cotton sometimes.

I am doing okay. What about you? I have not spoken with you over the communicator in some time. [and because i am a fail!mun ;A;]

I have thought of the alternative of using mattresses, but wouldn't they be difficult to rip open because of the springs inside?

Mii. It is a lot of fun!

It is a ceremony only celebrated in Hinamizawa. The cotton drifting part is what makes it different from other festivals.

And what is the cotton drifting part for?

princessofmoe June 5 2010, 21:16:12 UTC
We pay respect to the futons and honor the Shrine God by drifting cotton down the river.

...mii. we do not use futons in Discedo, so we may need to use something else.
