Had root canal "finished" yesterday and today I kinda feel like I've been in a fight. My jaws are achey and the shot-holes in my gums sting, and last-but-not-least my damned tooth hurts. When I visited my sister in Wales, we did a quick zig-zag across the island: London to Swansea to Edinburgh to London. They had several awesome stores with a plus-sized clothes sections.

The only thing I bought though was a great calf-length suede tan coat. Love-love-love it. If I'd had more time and money, I so would have spent time shopping.

When we were there they had the underpants and tank tops section, and it was called "Knickers and Vests". GUESS WHO LAUGHED A LOT? It was me.

I do hope you're feeling better darling! As for reading, I've been reading lots of comics and manga, which may or may not be readily available (or palatable) to you.

Oh! I did pick up "The Ladies of Grace Adieu" by Susanna Clarke (Johnathan Strange & Mr. Norrell) which is a collection of short stories. V. English! Though most of them are slight re-tellings of older stories, they're still good.

Hmm, besides that I would NOT recommend the book "Asshole" by Hilton Obenzinger, as it was crap.
