I'm thinking about possibly getting a Twitter. Am I starting myself down the road to ruin?

Also, whatever hurt/comfort value my Crystal Journeys fics had back in Middle School is unbelievably dead. I checked.

Twitter is not all that dangerous. It's just kind of a background thing, for me. I mean, it's one more addiction to read, but it's no worse than a Facebook wall feed.

Yeah, its not that big of the thing. There are some good things about it, like you can follow "celebrities" or whatever if they have it, and there are open discussions which often (very quickly) attract attention. As in, there was this amazon catastrophe where their search engine didn't show up any gay novels, but... the internet moves quickly to shout about these things, and twitter definitely was part of that.
