Wow--you actually made me sympathetic to Lianne! Not to Jake though, since he was cheating on his pregnant wife (and didn't have the balls to leave her earlier--he's Duncan the First). I never thought about the timing, but he had to have been sleeping with Lianne when Celeste was pregnant with Lilly, if they were so close in age...

Jake is like Duncan the first! And I think it's a little more asshatty that he cheated on his pregnant wife, which is what I think is the worst kind of cheating.

When I first started this fic I was going back through the time line and realized that too, that they were sleeping together while Celeste was preggers.

I'm glad I made you sympathetic to Lianne, because it was totally my intention with the first 3 chapters.
