The Hospital

After the earthquake incident, Emmy had taken to a new bed in the local hospital. Somehow, she had been tended to - her broken limbs set, her broken ribs kept immobile to prevent further injury. She slept most of the time in an attempt to heal her injuries faster, but it was likely that she would be there for another day, at least

*Pokes his head in.* So, I heard you're all banged up. *Walks in all the way, revealing that he's missing his right arm--that sleeve of his coat is hanging limply at his side.*

So... um... *Scratches his ear.* I can't do a lot of detailed alchemy right now, but I figured you'd be pretty bored just sitting around. Milo said he knew you and he suggested we bring some books by.

Hey there! So, I sort of guessed at what some of these are, since a lot of them are in your native language. Can't really speak it that well but uh... y'know, you might enjoy reading them... while you're here.

*The books include a history of Iserath, fairy tales and folklore, and a few fantasy novels written in English.*

*frowns faintly when she sees Ed's missing an arm, but greets him with a smile anyway - her ribs are taped, her ankle is set in a small cast, and one of her arms is in a full cast* It's good to see you. Thank you.

*smiles at Milo when he comes in as well, lighting up like a kid in a candy store when she sees the books, then beams brightly at the both of them* The two of you are absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much! *with her free hand, she scans the spines of the books, laughing quietly in excitement*
