With the threat of the homunculi gone, Kresnik decided that resuming his normal objective will be the best choice as of now. He walked through the plaza and suddenly stopped, spotting a rather familiar blond laying on the ground. He frowned lightly before walking towards her.

"Emeraude."

A comment about her obvious inabilities to lead a country, if she couldn't lead a simple group of people there in the City, lingered on the tip of her tongue, but somehow, it wouldn't come.

Instead, she took his hand, grasping it tightly with both of hers in an attempt to help her stand without falling back down onto her arse. Her knees buckled as she rose, but she managed to stay up, still clinging to his hand for dear life.

She glanced up to his expression briefly, opening her mouth slightly to say something; after a moment, she closed it and pulled her hands away, wobbling faintly on the spot as she looked away abruptly.

He didn't believe her, but Kresnik figured that she didn't want him around her any longer than needed. Well, that's fine with him, he only came over to heal her injures and make certain that her physical health is well.

"...Alright." He starts walking away.

His apathy just proved her point, as she turned away quickly, looking distraught. She didn't need that. Not his ever-present apathy towards bloody well everything; at this moment, it just seemed to make her mood worse. Her knees buckled as she began heading back to her apartment, but she still kept walking, never turning back to even say a word to him.
