Hey, where can I get titanium post earrings and how long does it take for ear holes to close up? More than a day? Can you guess by these two questions that we think I have a metal allergy?

Well, alot of times the best places to find "alternative metal" jewelry is at a body piercing place. They will generally have tungsten or titanium or stainless. Are you allergic to nickel? That's the most common metal allergy on Earth, I think. Have you tried platinum? If you want a pair, I know I can get you those at cost--no problem. The only problem is that even then they might be mega-bucks. Stupid hypo-allergenic hyper-expensive metals!

Generally more than one day. How long have they been pierced? A few months? Even the surgical steel ones they pierced them with are making you red/itchy? If not, then I'd clean those really good and put them back in so you don't close up.

I got some titanium ones at Claires from the piercing center and they seem to be doing just fine. I'll have to keep an eye on them. This old guy at Zales told me about platinum and then said they'd be $500. I was less interested in experimental $500 earrings. I got my ears pierced in October, so it's been forevar. I've been wearing the ones I got pierced with for about a month and those are the ones I was wearing for this most recent outbreak of ick so I guess it's nickel. I can't wear gold, silver, stainless or mystery metal. Boo/hiss.

I'm going to tough it out with these titanium ones. Few sites on the net have titanium earrings that don't look like they'd also belong in your eyebrow or belly button so we'll see.

I have been kind of craving Indian lately. NOM to the millionth power. If I were not so tired, I'd try to figure out how to do superscript. :P That's my problem: I'm just fuckin' exhausted for some reason. I am going to take a nap and then eat some couscous with tuna for supper--my lazy-ass go-to meal. :P

Well, if not tomorrow, perhaps we could cook Sunday?

i didn't make tikka masala last night, but I'm not so sure Billy would like it, as he doesn't eat rice and disliked indian the first time he had it. he's usually up for trying stuff, though.
