When I was preggo with Gel I had the same issues with the smell of meat and fish and could barely gag down a bite of salmon every now and then. To this day I still can't eat shrimp (which I once LOVED) and don't like fish at all like I once did. It sucks in some ways.
Sorry you are feeling so crummy. Yay first trimester. I'm hoping to be suffering with the same ailment by February. ;)
I thought a dinner of buttered egg noodles was safe but I just lost it all in the kitchen sink while I was washing dishes. It's a good thing kids are so awesome because I wouldn't go through this for just anyone!
That said, I hope you're barfing your guts out with a sibling for Gel in the near future :P
You know I feel you with that morning sickness!! Have you tried B-12? My midwife gave me some and she said it should help significantly. I'm starting it tomorrow along with my new prenatals.
Cash is so cute! I love the way you told your hubby! You're so creative. -sigh-
So Cash isn't picky? As long as it's not an alien I guess he's happy huh? XD
I have been taking a B-complex but it hasn't done too much good. And lately I've been too nauseated to take it or my prenatals. I can't wait until I get to the Dr and get the kind of prenatals I like prescribed to me, they didn't make me sick last time.
He says yes if you ask him if he wants a boy or a girl. He just wants a baby!
Aw I hope you get well soon! I read your above comment...why not ask Sean to help with the dishes? I still can't do them and Ron's been nice enough to do them for now. :)
Oh he gladly would, if he were home & I asked. It wasn't doing the dishes that made me barf though, it was just bad timing. Or good timing I guess, I could have been driving!
I was thinking as I was reading before the cut "Hmmm, wonder if..." and you just confirmed it! Congratulations!
When my mom was pregnant w/my brother, she had dreadful "morning" sickness (more like morning, noon & night), until her doctor gave her some B-vitamin injections. Granted, obstetrics have changed a hell of a lot since 1965, but perhaps your body could process the vitamins better in that form?...
