So, I went to the library last night knowing full well that less than a week before my classes start back up is probably not the best time for me to start reading for my own leisure and entertainment yet I still ended up checking out three books which was awfully ambitious of me. I've rationalized that next week probably will be light reading for

LMAO! Charlie's one of my fave characters, but that sure is funny.
And you don't like Spike or Spuffy. *pouts*
I still love you though, even if you do wish death upon my TV boyfriends. ;)

You don't rape or attempt to rape someone you supposedly love; love does not have a damn thing to do with it. Rape is about power and humiliation. Also, I have extreme hate for the Luke/Laura pairing and character of Luke Spencer on General Hospital for this same reason. Despite the fact that she was married and kept rebuffing his advances, he loved her so much that he just had to rape her on the floor of a disco. It disgusts me that she fell in love with him afterwards and married him and all the shit that has following in the 25+ years since ( ... )

The way I saw it with Spuffy, is that I hated the S6 quasi relationship because really he was still a souless monster. So when he attacked her, I saw him as that, still the same evil Spike but just not having the ability to carry on from where he left off (ie. before he had the chip). A vampire without a soul. Exactly the same as when Angel tried to kill her numerous times when he was unsouled.
I thought Spike redeemed himself when he got his soul as he had actually chosen to get one even though he was basically evil and so didn't have to. Thats always what sucked about Angel, whenever he lost his soul he was basically pure evil. When Spike was unsouled there was much more grey area, to the extent that he sought out his own soul.
I miss Buffy, it was my first fandom before Lost.

Anywho, I'm just incredibly bitter about most things Buffy following season 3...actually, I'm a bit bitter about a lot of season 3. I blame the Angel spin-off and the contrivances to make it so that both Angel and Cordy ended up in LA.
Buffy used to be my show; it was my first fandom, too. That's how I discovered fanfic. And spoilers.
