Reflections on a distant dream

I angst constantly about the fact that my emails are in much better form than my livejournal posts (which are also much rarer). I don't ever write blog-type entries like I do emails, anyhow; I write snippets here on Tuesday, then rearrange them and write some more on Wednesday, top it off on Thursday and obsessively check for errors, and then send ( Read more... )

Yours seems slightly more likely to be fulfilled, though . . .

And you are completely correct, and I am so tired of seeing stupid men, in the real world and on television, talk about their wives spending "their money." The whole idea of a marriage is a partnership. In a couple, both parties can work, but house-care is a problem, and, with children, child-rearing is important. While both spouses could work, one makes the sacrifice of not working in a business. It is understood, however, that both share in equal ownership of the property, just as they share the joys and burdens of raising children.

Sorry. I've seen/heard too much of that, lately.

And you are such an amazing writer. I may need to absorb you in order to get at this.
