I guess that's my brother's taste that is playing a part in this choice - he is very much into Hip-Hop and I do like the odd song too. =)

I love this song too, and I'm not into rap/hip hop at all. I think it has to do with the fact that a lot of Eminem's songs actually have a melody and he tends to sing, instead of just speaking really fast.

Also, I'm from the same area as Eminem, and speaking ill of him around here is like blasphemy :)

...true, his songs do often have a sung melody compared to other hiphop "artist", which is probably part why he's so successful - his material kind of appeals to everyone. :)

I know that Eminem can be quite offensive and some of his songs are - even if critical - plainly silly, but I do consider him a great artist against all odds, because some of his songs are great. Plus I find it amazing how he can cope with his pain through his work in such an open way and can still tell the world fuck you all. So yeah...great song! =)
