I was just recently thinking about the gay penguin incident (and wondering when/if they'll mention it) but you actually reminded me that there have been other incidents (Dexhart! Leslie pulling her pants down on TV! Twice!) that will probably affect her campaign. I really liked how you handled the political mudslinging- I can really see it going down like that.
I also really appreciated hearing Ann's voice in this- I love hearing a third-party point of view on the Leslie/Ben situation. I couldn't help hearing Leslie's "You're beautiful and your organized!" remark as I read this and am looking forward to reading about her coffee meeting w/Ben.
I'm just getting into P&R fic, so you might get a lot of comments from me in the near future. I'm just clearing it up so I don't look like a stranger stalker type :)
Thanks for this - I was really enjoying getting into Ann's head a little bit here. (I'd be interested in hearing more about her professional life on the show, actually. Hello, Mike Schur, you read these things, right? Hop to it!)
I had a bunch of help on the political mudslinging, but you're right, there's a lot of material there. That Leslie.
Oh, Pawnee shenanigans! And every time Marlene and Ben interact, it's my favorite. And the illustrations compliment the story beautifully! Wonderful job!
