My apologies for my quiet as of late. I appear to have come down with the flu, or something similar. It is not any concern, however, it obviously incapacitates me somewhat. I hate to do it while Arisato is already on bedrest, but I must take leave of patrols and other such "active" policework for the duration

Why would I lie about such a thing? [ ... ] I have had colds and the like, but nothing serious.

It's a simple fact.

I suppose that is not so surprising. I presume the environment here is largely the reason I became sick as well.

Are you sure you'll be alright? You don't want a doctor to check up on you? You don't need anything? It's good that you're taking a break from everything else you're doing but that might not be enough.

... You may be correct. When I am feeling less nauseous, I will visit the hospital. However, I do not feel as though this is particularly severe, if uncomfortable.

That's good. If you're too sick to make it to the hospital, you can always ask for a doctor to go to where you are so you don't end up getting more sick.

I would hardly so trouble the doctors.
