[ POLICE LOCKI believe we currently have two active cases-the kidnapping and the murder in the hospital-as well as our usual patrols and 'miscellaneous' work. I do not much care who has been doing what, nor is it my task to check up on everyone. However, for the sake of clarity, I would like to know who is working what case, at least ( Read more... )

I have chosen to investigate the hospital murder. If regular members of the force wish to do so, I'd like to combine our resources.

So far I haven't discovered the culprit. I plan to speak in depth with the hospital staff today. A 'vampire' is speculated as the assailant.

Yes, I had heard that rumor...

I believe at least one other member of the force has an interest in this case; if I can confirm it, I will send you to him.

It's difficult to verify, unfortunately, as we no longer have our best source of evidence. May I ask who else is interested?

It is a lead. There are not so many vampires here, I think.

hikari-prodigy was the first to mention it. I am unaware if he is thus 'handling' the case. I have been somewhat lax in my work of late.

[As always, reading through other threads to understand.]

Has the murdered victim come back to life yet? Do we know this much?

Also, the kidnapping situation: who was it? 'Fraid I missed it.

[ She does the same and generally assumes most people do. ]

I would assume so, but have, admittedly, not paid this matter close attention.

As for the kidnapping- [...] Former officer Kadaj kidnapped and has been brutalizing a man named Angael. Arisato-given their relationship- Tch. In short, no one knows where he currently is, and Kadaj is delighting in taunting the city with the fact.

It happens. I'll just keep watching, I suppose.

Wonderful, more psychotic rampage--is the man unharmed as far as we know?

He is injured, but Kadaj appears to be-intentionally-keeping him alive. I would not wish death on anyone, understand... but at least if he was killed, he would be out of that man's hold.

A murder at the hospital? But that's where people go to be treated! That's, truly dreadful....

Are they not part of any good police force?

Yes. However, I am a private detective by trade. I take what cases interest me, and work in tandem with the police... [ ... ]

Working for an organization like the police isn't so bad. A little order in life goes a long way.

I do not disagree... that was not my intended meaning. [ Sigh. Considers deleting it, but it's probably too late. ]

It wasn't? It's hard to read emotion in text, but you didn't sound all that peachy to me. Then again, I don't know much about the police here.

It has no bearing on the strength of the force here; it was a personal comment that posted before I had the chance to clarify or remove it.

The police force here is [...] more than capable.
