I bought a new journal. The old one was getting old and tattered, so I had to.

Everyone's going to camp. Honestly, I don't really know what the big deal is. It's just going to be full of dirt and disgusting insects. I would rather stay at home and study the topics that'll appear on the NEWTs.

Do you plan to study the whole summer through? Perhaps I should find something else for us to do together.

I might Perhaps.

What do you have in mind? If you're planning on shopping for clothes again, tell me. I won't let you do it alone.

I'm perfectly capable of shopping for myself, you know, but if you insist! We can shop together and then enjoy lunch.

...The last time you shopped alone, you bought a rainbow-colored robe.

Sounds lovely.

Ah, I take it you're not going either then, hm?

Of course not. I have no reason to.

It's a chance to get away from home and do something different. That appeals to most people.

I'm not like most people, then.

Excuse me if I don't find the idea of being stuck in a dirty camp in the middle of nowhere for a month appealing.

I guess the major pull would mainly have to deal with the fact that it's in America. Simple spells can deal with repelling insects, and the camp is all about having fun, to relax the brain and ease it off from stress.

Besides, cramming your mind with facts too much might give you a headache, and strain your eyes at the same time, if you don't let it rest a bit. Think of your health.

[He will NOT mention, however, that there have been muggle studies in which being stressed actually improves memory in the long term, but that the ways in which people were stressed are probably tantamount to a simple, voluntary form of torture. Not smart.]

America's not that great. I'd rather not deal with insects at all, and if I wanted to relax, I'll just take a break and drink some tea.

But I suppose you're right. I have been neglecting my health lately. [<- UNDERSTATEMENT.]

At least it's a different experience. That's why I'm going over there.

Though taking some time off for tea does sound rather appealing by itself as well.

[Says one tea connoisseur to another.]

Really, you should take care of yourself. You wouldn't want to end up sick and unable to do anything as simple as reading because of some ocular malady.

It's great around dull afternoons.

My eyes are perfectly fine That would be rather unfortunate, wouldn't it? I suppose I can afford taking care of myself more.
