I just saw the End-of-the-Year Ball Nominations... I'm speechless, really. Who knew that Hogwarts students could have such... questionable tastes? Wait. What am I going on about? Of course their nominations would be tasteless. I'm sure this was the Gryffindors' doing or even worse, the Hufflepuffs'. There aren't nearly enough Slytherin nominees (as ( Read more... )

Not attending?

Draco, you must attend.

Must I really?

I don't think it'd be worth my time at all.

Even if I promised to save you a dance?

And sit on the side making fun of all the other students with you?

Well, when you put it that way... maybe I'll consider going.

Of course, I'll need to find something to wear first.

What's the matter, jealous that you aren't old enough to run yet?

I've heard someone has a write-in campaign going for you, but you'll have to compete against four other princesses.

ooc: So..um, it might take me a while to get into the swing of RPing with Draco again. And fyi, Harry's pissy because he developed a crush on Seamus recently and that just fell apart. I think that's all for now. ;)

Jealous? Hardly.

Wouldn't want to run anyway, Potter. Have to give others a fair go at it.

And I'm sure whoever suggested that is merely jealous of my good looks, as they should be.

Right, because I'm sure the whole school wants to look just like you.

I didn't realize 'pale and pointy' was the latest thing.

Actually they do want to look just like me. Can't blame them, really, but not everyone can be devastatingly handsome like me.

And I think you mean 'fair-skinned and fine-boned'. Honestly, Potter, you could at least check a dictionary before trying to insult me.

I certainly won't miss you if you don't attend, and I doubt anyone else will, either.

In fact, I'm sure they won't even notice if you don't show.

Don't worry, the feeling's mutual.

Of course, you have my pity. After all, at least I won't have to go with the Weasel.

Nobody in their right mind would go with you.

Ron's a better person than you'll ever be, Malfoy.

I'll allow you to continue to think that if it'll make you feel better about going with the Weasel.

Besides, being his date is punishment enough. Even for someone like you.

How cute. You've decided to annonce you're not going just so people can A. Tell you you absolutely have to or B. be snarky by telling you the reasons they think you're not going.

Can we say: Attention whore?

Unlike you pathetic Gryffindor lot, I don't have to whore attention.

I command it.

There's a difference, but I guess it's hard for you people to distinguish it.

Commanding implies that we don't make a conscious choice to either ignore you or endulge your delusions.

It must be fun to have that much false self confidence.

I think that's indulge, dear. With an 'i'.

At least try to learn how to spell properly before trying to insult me. It's embarrassing otherwise.
