Shakespeare and Japanese

I'm back from Ashland, and still jazzed about it - we had a grand time with four fab plays and an adorable cottage to sleep in where a fresh-baked b&b breakfast was delivered to our door every morning in a wooden basket.  A doe kept coming over and chomping the apples that were falling from the tree outside the door, which was fun to watch, and ( Read more... )

I would think it's quite an achievement to learn to read and/or write Japanese.

I know deer are a pest to gardeners who have them around (the innkeeper mentioned how they don't eat enough apples for his preference, but instead seem to go after his roses) - but I never get tired of seeing them, they're such graceful creatures.
