URGE TO WRITE A SHERLOCK/ARASHI AU!FUSION FIC: 200%

I actually JUST WATCHED the pilot episode (not the unaired) one tonight. and I mean. if you could figure out a way to do it without OCs. I mean people would read. By people I mean me. I am just saying. I'm not excited by the idea or anything. :3

If Nino and Ohno weren't there to vouch for him in their statements, Sho probably could have been convicted for murder at least three times over the course of their friendship together.

I think the only way around OCs is to use... not OCs. By which I mean other JE people, from other groups, or other well-known entertainers (eg. Becky, Daigo as people somehow connected to Aiba). I've considered this a lot, but I don't think this is a plausible solution for me either, since I really only know Arashi, and lazy characterization is something that I try to avoid. So... yeah. Dunno. I was thinking of maybe using 2PM as characters... but idk if that would work because I "feel" completely different when I write stories for 2PM vs. Arashi. Still, that's my best option at this time. IDK IDK maybe I can just write out the plot with OCs named "XX" or "YY" and that'll be that. :/

I'm really mean to Sho in my fics and I feel bad about it. But not bad enough to stop.

Hmm. I like it IN THEORY. I am basically watching for a) my best friend and b) martin freeman, because Cumberbatch kind of freaks me out (his eyes are too pale for his hair but then I found out he was naturally ginger and I was like OH THANK GOD HE IS NOT ACTUALLY A LIVING ZOMBIE) and I found the last 20 minutes boring because I hate logic puzzles. BUT! I have been informed it is not all like that. And I do love me some Moffat (I was a giant Doctor Who fan until Martha). And I know Murray Gold does the music and that is the best ( ... )

I get you; that's cool. Different strokes! I totally thought Benedict Cumberbatch's face was crazy too, just like Colin Morgan and Matt Smith's -- almost alien like. Prolonged exposure, however, has totally negated any of those old feelings. I LOVE that you love Martin Freeman though. I got to know both of them through Sherlock and while Benedict Cumberbatch made a huge impression on me in his role (for good reason), I just got pulled head over heels for Martin Freeman. I can't explain it but I really really really love him. DAMN that guy is awesome. I think I might actually expire in the theatre when I see The Hobbit ( ... )

Haha IKR T___T Honestly it is an all-consuming desire, to see this fusion made real. Mainly I just really want to see Nino and Ohno go around solving mysteries brilliantly. It would be just... fdajsfl;afjdfadl;s *_______*

I don't know much about Arashi, but I finally started watching Sherlock on Friday... and then couldn't stop! And now I'm all caught up and have to wait for new episodes like everyone else. D: It's brilliant! Thank you for the rec; I wish I'd watched it sooner!

Regarding you marathoning Sherlock: You are amazing, you are fantastic! Brilliant!! Oh, it's Christmas!! I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU LIKE IT!!! There is only one last episode, so I think you got into the show at just the right time. Only a week of waiting!! Whereas people who started watching from Series 1 had to wait over a year until Series 2 came out................. There was a joke I read on the internet about that, actually.

The stupid thing is that I actually started writing it? According to my files.... in February of last year? And then I realized I would need OCs up the wazoo so the idea puttered out. Back then I didn't have much concept besides 1) Jun lost something valuable, 2) He hires Ohno and Nino to find it. The document is filled with blanks I left empty because I was too lazy to do the necessary research, haha. Also, I thought Jun's character was too similar to how I wrote him for my Death Ray universe, and I didn't like that ( ... )

Should have let it ring, Nino thinks. "Shun, I'm sorry, I'm still broke. Oh-chan took all of our monthly earnings and bought himself this incredibly ugly fishing lure that he swore would keep us overflowing with fish for the rest of our natural lives but he liked it too much to actually use it. and he put it in his pencil kit, of all things. well i really feel you on the OC thing because i can't write convincing OC's to save my life. i hope you eventually get around to writing this though, it looks so incredibly promising :) and can i just add that i love your nino. so much.

aren't there enough people in japanese entertainment for no OCs? and for the villains... hahah, when i need villains i've started using villains from dramas or whatnot. XD

in other words, this is amazing and i would 100% read it.

There definitely are! But I barely know them, so I can't write them D: That would theoretically be the ideal solution though, to use other JE artists as characters.
