[The feed clicks on with a skitter, a rattle, a dark and velvety shadow completely obscuring the camera, a soft whiff of air in something that might be a snort of impatience, and then--]
[Despite being a lioness obviously on the prowl, Rosella still doesn't look particularly threatening as she makes her way through the city. At least, she's not moving quite like the way a lion would; in fact, she's carrying herself more the way a very, very large cat might. Which likely only adds to the stares she's getting, really, and she's certainly getting a lot of them.
Including one from a nice little kid with a cinnamon roll, whom she's now currently glancing at through big, leonine eyes.]
[It's staring at him. He's torn between his innate childlike curiosity and the righteous fear one gets when they see something unfamiliar and alien. A ten year old really ought to know better, but Luke doesn't; all his shaky grasp of the fonic language disappears, replaced by a worried whimper.
[Oh. Oh, dear, that's not good at all, her ears are more than keen enough to pick up the sound of that whimper, and the last thing she wants is to scare anybody. She could try to speak to him, but she's a little worried that would only make things worse, add one more unfamiliarity to an already alien situation.
So she thinks a minute, pondering her options, and then makes like a cat instead, rolling onto her back with her paws in the air in the least-threatening posture she can imagine.]
Yes, it seems it's my turn to be the cat today, after all. And quite a big one at that. I don't mind it much, but I think I'll have to get out of the city proper sooner or later--all the buildings are making me nervous.
[Pass by a certain alleyway and you might see a coyote leaned up against the wall, nonchalant, watching the passersby, maybe thinking about asking for a handout...]
[Oh, look. It's a coyote. Lion eyes don't miss much, especially not when it comes to other animals. And the really nice thing about being a lion is that there's really very little to be afraid of. Fear is for prey animals. Lions are nothing but sleek confidence.
So she stops at the mouth of the alleyway, flicking her tail as she turns to look at this fellow creature, evidently afflicted by the same curse as she is today.]
I will too, I think. I'm only making trouble if I try to stay around the Warehouse, and to be honest, all the walls and buildings are making me a bit uncomfortable anyway.
