And so, after two days, it's finally come to an end. No more battles, no more clashing of swords, no more explosions roaring like thunder. It's all gone. It's over ( Read more... )

I trust that you have been left unharmed, Rosella?

I could help you get that fixed, if you'd like.

Unharmed, yes, but rather a bit tired of listening to all the fighting. It's nice to have some peace and quiet again.

Could you? It's really rather special to me, and I'd like to be able to wear it again soon. Do you know of a good jeweler?

There has not been a lot of peace for us in the past several weeks. It is becoming rather tiresome.

My knowledge with the City is still limited, s he may not be the best the City has to offer, but he did successfully create a charming necklace for Yuuki. I'm certain repairing a chain will be an easy task.

With any luck, we'll get it all out of the way now, and we can have things calm and pleasant for the holidays. But that may be asking a bit too much of the City.

That'd be lovely, thank you. I'd appreciate it very much.

Well, not much. I did get a little, but most of the time I was otherwise...preoccupied.

It's fine, you know, it was just a curse.

I know someone who can fix your necklace for you. Is it gold?

It rather reminded me of when the dragon came for me, in a way.

It's not, I'm afraid. It's just a rather plain, but sturdy, chain. Kaname said he knew of a jeweler as well, but I'm always glad for a recommendation, if you have one?

The dragon?

That should be even easier, I'd think. Yes, it's just an old man at a small stall.

The one back home. But this war was louder than it was then.

Oh, that's good. I suppose I could always just get a new one, if I had to, but this one is a bit sentimental and I'd really like to get it fixed, if I can. So the easier, the better, really.

I'll get it fixed, Rosella.

I think Kaname and I are going to go look after it tomorrow, actually. Which will be good, really, since I likely ought to get out of the house for a change, after these past few days.

...It wasn't the one you gave me that broke, though. Don't worry, that one's still safe. It was the other one.

Fff I have to leave again soon I'm sorry playstheblues November 12 2009, 18:53:06 UTC
Oh. Good. But still, I hope it can be fixed.

I do too but hey there's always backdating? <3 primrosella November 12 2009, 18:54:36 UTC
I do, too. And if all else fails I can always get a new chain, I suppose, but I'm rather attached to the one I have already.

Can't say I blame you. After that, I'm not in the greatest of moods, either.

It was a rather horrible way to spend two days, wasn't it?

Very much so. I'm glad they left it at two days.

I'd been worried, when it didn't end at midnight after the first day, that it might go on as long as a week, the way that the zombies did. So perhaps that's something to be glad for, too, that it only went as long as it did.
