My dad lived in PA when I was a kid, and he'd bring us genuine authentic really fresh Amish scrapple. I'm stuck with the Jones version, now, when I can get it. It's still good, though. :D

I hope you won't think less of me if I tell you that I absolutely hate brussel sprouts, even though I know they are full of nutrition. Now mashed potatoes on the other hand are wonderful -- but the secret is to include enought milk and butter so they aren't too lumpy!! In more important news, I just received my membership renewal gift from eltonjohn.com and it is a video of Elton and Ray Cooper performing in 2009. It is of course wonderful and I think Elton still sounds great. The highlights are Tonight and Come Down In Time. And we won't mention how your Bosox took three out of four against my poor Blue Jays...

Ooh, I should renew my subscription. I used to be a subscriber but haven't been the last few years.
Brussels sprouts are an acquired taste. Or something.
I'm not going to jinx my Sox. Hopefully I'll get to see them actually in Boston this year. As much as I love Toronto (even though T.O. hates on my car in some way every time I drive it there), two years in a row is enough times to see them at Rogers Stadium, because it is not Fenway. :)
