he just grinned and shook my hand--'no' was all he said

I'm going on like four trips this summer, but they're all to places I've been recently (except DC.I haven't been there in YEARS). Not that I don't want to go, but still.

I'm going to Seattle! \o/ That's the furthest away I've ever been.

I am worlds more boring than you on the global scale (pardon the pun). US and Canada. One Canadian province (BC). *sigh*

But thanks to business travel, I light up a lot of the US states. At least there's that.

The Europe/Egypt countries on the map were the result of one trip with a church group when I was twenty. Not the best trip I've been on, but Italy was awesome.

I've never been to BC. My sister recently moved to Idaho, so if I visit her I could hit Alberta and BC at the same time and add more to the list. I'll just run outside now and pick a few bucks from the money tree. *sigh*

The UK and Ireland are at the top of my Eurolist, followed by Germany and France.

Dude! You get around!

But Portugal said to tell you its feelings are hurt. ;-)

It'll look even more impressive when I've been to Canada.

Heee! Yeah, I really should go to Portugal.

See that's better than mw.

I've visited 2 other ocuntries apart from the UK. And both of them were in Europe. And I can't really count one because it was EuroDisney.

I really shouldn't count Haiti because the place I went to was owned by the cruise line, so it wasn't really Local Culture or anything. If I can count that, you can count EuroDisney. ;)

I think we can count both then. I mean we went to another country...techncially...

The only thing I didn't count was places where I only drove through or had a stopover at an airport (If I counted them I could add the whole US East Coast plus Colorado and California and whatever states I'd go through getting from RI to Michigan).

Funny how most people seem to be on pretty much the same page! My global travels are highly limited. (I mean, for God's sake, I've never even been to the Middle East, and I'm a biblical scholar.)

You obviously have an issue with New Hampshire :)

Poor New Hampshire. There's a dollhouse store there that I'm dying to visit, so perhaps it will sufficiently inspire me to do a bit of traveling! (Actually, I can't remember if I've been to New Hampshire or not. It seems like I have... but I erred on the side of definitive honesty.)

Well, see, now you must come visit me, as I am now (mostly) residing a few scant miles from the NH border (which is good, as there is no sales tax in NH!).
