Yay!

Trish should totally have her baby on my birthday. Just 'cause it's such an excellent day. Plus she would be pre-40w and could avoid induction pressure. Yes I am weird. They didn't find out the sex, right?

The didn't want to find out the sex. And your birthday would be awesome because it's also Caleb's cousin Jon's birthday (he's actually OLDER THAN YOU). Doc says 41w 5d for induction. That's actually one of the best I've seen, docwise.

Well according to the ultrasound tech, the due date was the 15th, however I would like the first great-grandchild to not share a birthday with the first grandchild, I want him or her to have their own birthday (it would be even weirder if I have a boy lol), preferably like tomorrow would be awesome or even today.

Babies have this annoying habit of picking their own birthday no matter what we non-babies think. Silly babies. ;)

Celtic Colours

I'd never heard of that before, but I think next year I'm going to have to find a way to get myself up there. (I've wanted to go to Cape Breton forever, and that festival sounds like the best excuse ever!)

Whee, you should! I'll be staying at the Cabot Trail Hostel, more than likely. You could, too! It's cheap and pretty from what I read.

Cheap is good.

It depends on whether I'll be in grad school next fall or not. If not, no problem; if so, scheduling could be an issue, although at least grad student schedules are more flexible than undergrads, as far as I can tell...

I've never been to Cape Breton at any time but late December/Early January. If I loved it all cold and freezy and snowcovered, I know I'm going to be completely gone in spring/summer/fall.

Grad school is Important. I'll be doing school most likely (more undergrad, but mneh. It's so I can do stuff like maybe spend thirteen weeks in Nova Scotia travel nursing and stuff).

This is the hostel in Baddeck. It looks like it's right in the middle of lots of gorgeousness. And it's cheap!

This would be me.
